Arm Robot on Wheels

This robot is the most complicated thing I have built so far. It uses mecanum wheels for movement and has a robotic arm — totalling 10 servos to drive. It can be controlled with a PS5 controller manually, but also has wrist-mounted cameras for advanced AI features. It also has a color touch screen and a full computer with GPU on board. It is powered by a LiPo battery and has completely custom electronics. From the first ideas to the finished robot, the project took about five months to complete.

In following blog posts, I’ll be telling parts of my adventure in more detail, covering each interesting aspect.

This project taught me a lot about programming, robotics, and problem-solving. It took a long time to build, but seeing everything finally work together made the effort worth it. Looking back, it is amazing to see how many different ideas and systems ended up in a single robot.
